Best banh mi I've found in a long time. They have lots of options to order. I got combination and the grilled pork ones and they are DELICIOUS! I bought more after trying them. They make everything in house including the bread which I think really makes the banh mi. The grilled pork tastes really fresh and seasoning is just right and has a good butter. They put lots of meat and ingredients into their banh mi! They sell a variety of dishes here in addition to their tofu. I recommend their fried tofu! It's soft and creaThey have steamed rice cakes, Vietnamese hams, desserts and many more. Sugar cane juice was so good! Owners were really nice and quick! This is a busy place and many people place orders before coming in.
It was our first time here. We stopped by for breakfast when visiting Nashville. I was glad that they opened at 8:30am. We ordered Pho, Bun Rieu and Banh Mi dac biet. I liked their banh mi a lot. It’s very crunchy outside and soft/fluffy inside. They make banh mi and Cha Lua (steamed pork roll) in house so they were very fresh at the time I ordered. We also got Nuoc Mia (sugar cane juice) and coconut jelly dessert. They were both delicious!!!! Definitely gonna go back for other items when we’re in town.
I adore this place. They have the best banh mi’s in Nashville (the Korean BBQ beef one is my favorite) and amazing Banh Cuon. I had never tried Banh Cuon before and the woman that worked there was so sweet and let me try the vegetarian one and the pork one last time I went. I highly recommend this place as they have delicious authentic Vietnamese food and great service!
Small restaurant, unassuming, very clean and the food is beyond amazing. Menu is limited but that is fine because everything they offer is the best of what it is. I see some people complaining about it not being clean but the only time I've seen that is when it's busy, they don't bus the tables fast. But I don't even care because the food is that good and it's a little family owned place that seems very clean overall.
5 banh mis are unbeatable. Highly affordable, tastes food, fast service and the bun bo hue is immaculate.
Best Vietnamese place I have been to in Nashville. We had the Banh Cuon, Bun Bo Hue, Pho, and Banh Mi (Combination Tofu) - def. Recommend!!! We also had the Coconut Pandan Jello and def. Recommend as end of dessert. The Banh Cuon was fresh and delicious, they made it with a ground pork wood ear filler, and served with Bean sprout, cilantro, fried onions/shallots, and Vietnamese fish sauce - so good - I grabbed from Thai basil from the noodle soup dishes to add in for additional flavoring. Bun Bo Hue - if you are into spicy - this is for you, flavored perfectly super spicy (try before you spice it up more) (did not get a photo) Pho - really good Beef Pho - well balanced (did not get a photo) Banh Mi - Combination - my fav. Ended up doing the by 5 get one 1 free so we can eat more later :)
Most authentic Pho here at Hoang Tofu. I must say it was also massive and super fulfilling. They seem to prepare lots of fresh nice authentic Vietnamese food to go too
